The variety is a derivative of Camus de Bretagne. A key feature of the produce is its ability to better maintain color and appearance when sold in retail chains compared to similar varieties.
In technical protocols, the variety is used as a reference standard when assessing the elongation timing of the main stem. Plants of the variety may show susceptibility to viral infections and are prone to physiological disorders, such as spotting, occurring due to calcium deficiency.
