The plant is a tetraploid variety intended for creating cover on sports grounds, golf courses, in parks, and on residential areas. It is characterized by good seed germination energy, rapid rooting, and improved winter hardiness compared to common seed varieties.

For turf use, the recommended mowing height is from 1.3 to 5 cm. The growth aggressiveness inherent to the species contributes in this variety to the rapid formation of dense carpet turf, its ability to self-repair, and to suppress weeds.
