The variety forms well-leafed bushes. During scientific observations, the average inflorescence length was recorded at approximately 18.6 cm.
When using intensive agrotechnologies with mineral and micro-fertilizers, seed yield reaches 0.56–0.66 t/ha. The variety shows relative drought tolerance, but is demanding regarding moisture conditions and does not tolerate prolonged flooding exceeding 7–10 days.
The plant is used in modern agronomic research, in particular for studying the influence of fertilizers and in creating grass mixtures in combination with legumes, for example, clover.
