Variety description

The variety is a compact evergreen perennial plant 25–40 cm in height, forming a dense cushion of gray-green foliage. The flowers are double, of a purple-pink shade with a dark port-colored eye and fringed petal edges.

Flowering is abundant, continuing from late spring to early autumn; repeat flowering is possible if inflorescences are removed. The flowers have a distinct fragrance and are suitable for cutting. The plant is winter hardy in zones 5–9, requires a sunny location and good drainage.

The variety is used in landscape design for creating borders, decorating rock gardens, group plantings, and is also grown in containers.
