Variety description

The Balburanim variety (commercial name Burst® Orange Improved) is a compact, well-branching shrub 46–61 cm in height and width. The plant foliage is dark green and glossy.
The flowers are dark orange, funnel-shaped, and consist of two lips, creating the effect of a five-petaled corolla with fringed edges. A lighter shade is often present in the throat of the flower. The flower size is nearly twice that of typical representatives of the species.
The plant is drought-tolerant after establishment and flowers from spring to autumn. Frost resistance is limited to -6° C. The variety requires good drainage and is sensitive to excessive moisture during the summer period.
