Georgie Red, also known as Kissable Red, is a small evergreen shrub up to 60 cm in height and width. The plant is characterized by a compact shape and abundant branching, possesses a certain level of heat tolerance and the ability to withstand drought, however, its winter hardiness is limited to temperatures down to -6.7°C.
The flowers of the variety have a red color with a characteristic yellow border and are distinguished by relatively large sizes. The flowering period covers spring, summer, and autumn. Under unfavorable growing conditions, plants of this species are at risk of being affected by root and crown rots, including Phytophthora tentaculata.
