Variety description

The plant is a compact, well-branched shrub about 60 cm in height with an upright, mound-like growth habit. The foliage is dark green and glossy. The flowers are funnel-shaped, consisting of two 'lips' and five ruffled corolla lobes, colored tangerine-orange with a thin yellow border along the edge.
The variety prefers well-drained sandy or coarse-textured soils and locations ranging from full sun to light partial shade. In coastal regions, flowering continues almost year-round with a peak from spring to summer. The plant withstands temperatures down to -6.7°C and requires moderate watering once established.
