Variety description

The plant has an upright growth habit; as it ages, the lower leaves drop, exposing the stem. In indoor conditions, it reaches a height of 60–90 cm to 1.5–3 meters. Flowering occurs extremely rarely; the flowers are small, white, and fragrant.

The variety is shade-tolerant, however, to maintain the brightness of the stripes on the leaves, it prefers bright diffused light. The plant is sensitive to overwatering, which can cause root rot. It contains saponins and is moderately toxic to pets.
