The variety belongs to the Compacta group and is characterized by broad, flat, lanceolate leaves. The variegated leaf coloration includes a saturated green central part and edges with white, gray, creamy-green, or lemon stripes.

The plant reaches a height of about 150 cm with a crown spread of up to 90 cm, although it is often sold as a miniature specimen. It is characterized as a hardy plant requiring adequate drainage and moderate watering.
