The plant is a tree-like crop with vertical growth, found in both compact and taller forms, reaching 150 cm in indoor conditions. The leaves are narrow, rigid, and elongated; the coloration is typical for decorative species of the genus Dracaena.

The variety is intended for landscaping the interiors of residential and commercial premises. The crop is low-maintenance, prefers bright diffused light, but is capable of tolerating partial shade and is characterized by sufficient drought tolerance. The plant is toxic to domestic animals.

In sources, the variety is systematically attributed to both Dracaena fragrans and Dracaena reflexa species, which is typical for trade practices regarding visually similar forms.
