The plant is a stemless succulent forming a dense rosette 8–12 cm high and 7–15 cm in diameter. The leaves are fleshy, triangular in shape, and green in color, often with bronze or reddish tips and margins.

The species is drought-tolerant and is not frost-hardy. The plant is intended for cultivation as an indoor or potted crop.
