Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid derived from the crossing of Echinacea paradoxa, Echinacea purpurea, and Echinacea tennesseensis. The plant forms a compact, upright bush 40–46 cm tall and about 60 cm wide. Strong flower stalks do not require staking.

The flowers consist of bright yellow ray petals and an orange central disc. The flowering period lasts from early summer until the first frosts, provided that spent blossoms are removed. The variety has high growth vigor and is resistant to lodging, heat, drought, and deer browsing. USDA hardiness zones 4–9.
