Variety description

The variety is the result of interspecific hybridization of Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea paradoxa. The plant reaches a height of about 75 cm and forms a basal rosette of dark green lanceolate leaves. Sturdy flower stalks are resistant to lodging.

Large fragrant flowers with a diameter of 11–13 cm have bright orange petals with red-purple shades and a brownish-maroon cone. Flowering begins in June and continues until early autumn. The variety is suitable for cutting, maintaining freshness in a vase for up to 7–10 days when using preservatives.

The plant is recommended for cultivation in sunny areas with well-drained soils; light partial shade is acceptable. Due to the genetics of E. paradoxa, the variety exhibits hardiness to winter temperature and humidity fluctuations, exceeding the performance of many pure purple hybrids.
