Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 60–100 cm. The inflorescences are large, up to 10–11 cm in diameter, have a pumpkin-orange or red-orange color and a small, raised reddish-brown cone. The foliage is dark green, somewhat stiff, and lanceolate or ovate in shape. The stems are upright, sturdy, well-branched, and do not require staking.

The variety blooms from mid-summer to early autumn; under favorable conditions, repeat flowering until frosts is possible. Frost resistance corresponds to USDA zone 4. The plant is sensitive to excessive soil moisture and requires good drainage. It is used in landscaping and container cultivation.
