The plant is a vegetatively propagated perennial with erect stems 35–60 cm tall. Leaves are simple, elliptic to oblanceolate. In the summer period, the foliage has a dark green or bluish hue, which changes to purple-burgundy in the autumn-winter season.
Flowering occurs in spring and early summer. Small flowers are collected in cyathia, surrounded by yellow-green bracts. The variety is intended for cultivation in gardens and containers, prefers good light or partial shade and well-drained soils. All parts of the plant contain toxic milky sap.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
