The variety is a bushy, mound-forming evergreen perennial. It has whorled, broad-lanceolate or elliptical leaves of a dark green color, with a purple or bronze sheen. In spring, it forms branched red stems, on which yellow flowers develop, surrounded by expressive yellow-green bracts.
The plant is drought-tolerant once established, but is sensitive to winter waterlogging and requires well-drained soil. Optimal growing conditions are sites with full sun or partial shade, with partial shade being preferred in regions with hot and humid summers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
