Perennial, evergreen or semi-evergreen plant capable of spreading via underground rhizomes. A mature specimen reaches approximately 60 cm in height and 90 cm in width.
Flowering occurs in the second year. The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained soils. Used in ornamental gardening, particularly for creating drought-tolerant landscapes.
