The plant reaches a height of 100–120 cm, forming a heavily leafy upright bush. The stem is green with anthocyanin coloration; flowers are characterized by pink buds and light pink petals. The thousand kernel weight is 25–30 g, hull content varies from 18 to 24%. Seed color ranges from brown to black.
The variety possesses resistance to spring frosts, periodic droughts, and seed shattering. Yield is 15–23 c/ha. Agronomic practices do not require intensive application of mineral fertilizers; the crop contributes to the control of certain types of nematodes in the soil.
The grain is used for the production of groats, flour, and gluten-free products. The plant is an effective honey plant with a productivity of 40–100 kg of honey per 1 ha. The variety is also suitable for the production of agricultural distillates.
