The variety of Dutch origin is used as a forage crop for pastures. In 1979 literature, it is classified as a variety for late pasture use.
In the 1980s and 1990s, the variety was included in scientific studies on the comparative assessment of forage quality, where indicators of neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber, and lignin content were studied.
