Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as a turf type and is used in scientific research to evaluate the quality characteristics of surfaces, particularly on football pitches. In the course of experiments, the variety demonstrated adaptability to low mowing in the range of 10–25 mm.

When maintaining a minimum cutting height, the plants show an increase in shoot density and an improvement in leaf texture. The variety was also studied for water-soluble carbohydrate accumulation at various cutting heights and nitrogen fertilizer application rates.

Within the framework of evaluating playing characteristics for sports turf, parameters such as color, surface hardness, resistance to penetration, and ball bounce were measured for this variety.
