The Verfine variety is characterized by a very fine leaf texture and high sward density, due to which it effectively suppresses the growth of weeds. The plant forms short shoots, called stolons, and has leaf coloration ranging from medium to dark green.
The variety possesses good drought tolerance and tolerates low mowing. The area of application includes ornamental, recreational, and landscape lawns, as well as sites requiring low mowing heights; it is frequently used in grass mixtures.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
