The Manetto variety is classified as hard fescue (Festuca longifolia), belonging to the group of fine-leaved fescues. The variety is intended for creating professional turf surfaces, including golf course greens, and is often used in seed mixtures for renovation.

The plant demonstrates good shoot density and resistance to red thread. It is characterized by high adaptability to intensive maintenance and tolerates regular low mowing in the range of 4–7 mm.
