The variety forms a dense stand with very fine foliage. It possesses good disease resistance and the ability to maintain a green color for a long period during summer months. It tolerates dry, poor soils and sandy substrates well.
It is distinguished by a slow growth rate, which reduces the need for frequent mowing. Like other representatives of the species Festuca ovina, this variety is sensitive to intensive trampling and mechanical stress, and also has low competitiveness against aggressive grass species.
