The variety is used primarily as a lawn grass for creating high-traffic surfaces and is often included in grass seed mixtures. In literature, it may be classified as Festuca trachyphylla or as part of the Festuca ovina species group.
The plant demonstrates resistance to red thread, Fusarium, rust, and Drechslera. The variety is suitable for low mowing; the leaves have a medium-green color. Compared to other fescue varieties, it possesses high wear resistance, especially in the summer time.
