The Remko variety was classified as a forage grass for agricultural purposes. In documentation from the 1980s–1990s, it was mentioned as breeding material of Dutch origin.
Currently, the variety is considered obsolete and is practically not represented in modern registers of breeding achievements as an actively cultivated commercial variety. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics are absent in open sources.
