The variety belongs to the subspecies of Chewing's fescue (Festuca rubra commutata). Unlike rhizomatous forms, this subspecies forms dense tufts. The plant has a fine leaf texture and forms a dense turf, providing a uniform and aesthetic appearance to the cover.

It is used in mixtures for establishing elite landscape projects and sports grounds, such as golf courses. The variety is characterized by high shade tolerance and the ability to grow in various climatic conditions.
