The variety belongs to the subspecies Festuca rubra commutata. The plant forms a dense sod with high shoot density, which allows it to be used for creating surfaces requiring low mowing in the range of 10–18 mm.

The variety possesses resistance to drought conditions and high salt tolerance. In terms of pathogenic resistance, good resistance to Fusarium and red thread is noted.
