The variety is a bunch-type grass with dark green leaves, characterized by high shoot density and a slow growth rate, which reduces the need for frequent mowing. The plant is well-adapted to growing on poor and acidic soils, provided that effective drainage is present.
Due to the presence of endophytes, the variety possesses increased resistance to nematodes and a number of pests, as well as good resistance to dollar spot and red thread. Moderate resistance is shown to brown rust and summer patch. The variety is primarily used in professional landscaping mixtures.
