The variety is an octoploid (8n) plant with rigid stems 55–75 cm in height and dark green smooth leaves. One of its key characteristics is the presence of long underground shoots (rhizomes) 20–25 cm in length, which contribute to soil stabilization and rapid filling of gaps in the turf.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness and adaptability to various conditions, including drought, waterlogging, moderate salinity, and shading. The variety forms a dense turf and is recommended for park lawns, recreational areas with infrequent mowing, as well as for protecting embankments and road verges.
Under production conditions, the potential seed yield is 12–15 c/ha, with average indicators of 6–8 c/ha. The variety effectively combines with other fescue species, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the sward due to its saturated color.
