The variety belongs to the subspecies Festuca rubra ssp. rubra. Key morphological characteristics are very high shoot density and rapid rooting. The plant forms a dense, highly decorative, fine-leaved turf.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and increased resistance to red thread. The plant is capable of tolerating low and regular mowing to a height of 10–15 mm.

The scope of use includes professional and decorative lawns, landscape design, and sports grounds, in particular golf courses.
