The variety belongs to the spreading red fescue group. Due to its ability to form rhizomes, the plant creates a dense sod, which makes it suitable for use in turf grass mixtures and the formation of mixed stands.
During research, the variety demonstrated adaptability to stress and maintained a deep green color during the arid summer period. Active mention of the variety in agronomic publications occurred in the 1970s–1980s.
