Variety description

The variety is a local Spanish product of folk selection from the Extremadura region. The tree is characterized by low growth vigor, a semi-erect crown, and the ability to withstand temperature drops down to -15°C. The variety is self-fertile and adapts well to drought conditions, calcareous and saline soils.
The conical fruits are small or medium in size. Upon ripening, the skin acquires a greenish-yellow hue, and the pulp becomes amber, dense, and very sweet. The variety matures in early or mid-early terms; the main harvest period falls between late July and September, with a peak in mid-August.
