The CALLARA variety, also known by the synonym Rossa, is a bifera. The first crop of large fruits ripens at the end of June, the second, main crop — in September.

The fruits are pear-shaped, have a reddish skin color and pink or dark pink flesh. They are distinguished by juiciness and a rich taste with berry and plum undertones. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
