The tree of this variety grows vigorously and has an open crown. The leaves are large, five-lobed, with wavy-crenate margins and petioles of medium or large length. The variety is bifere and parthenocarpic, meaning it is capable of setting fruit without pollination.
The fruits, which have a medium-late ripening period, weigh from 50 to 120 g and have a rounded or ovoid, slightly asymmetrical shape, flattened at the apex. The fruit skin is rather thick, purple or violet in color. The variety is characterized by low resistance to transportation.
The fruits are used fresh, as well as for making preserves and fig syrup. The variety is considered a rare autochthonous type, the value of which lies primarily in the main crop, while the quantity and quality of the first crop are usually low.
