Variety description

The variety forms a compact tree with a rounded crown, thin branches, and dense foliage, characterized by a slow growth rate. It is self-fertile. Under the climatic conditions of Mallorca, it produces three crops: breba ripens from early June, the main crop in August, and the late crop in October.

Fruits are small to medium in size, spherical or pear-shaped, with dark purple or black skin. The flesh is pink, very soft, contains many seeds, and has a flavor reminiscent of berries with honey notes. The breba is considered to be of the highest quality.

The variety tolerates drought well and is resistant to fruit cracking in the eye area. However, it is sensitive to rain and high humidity, due to which the fruits with their delicate skin do not transport well and require fresh market sale.
