Variety description

The plant has an upright habit, dark green glossy leaves, and large flowers. Berries are large, ranging from globose to broad-conical in shape. Flesh is firm and does not darken during storage.
The variety possesses resistance to red root rot and winter hardiness when grown in traditional matted row systems with straw mulch. Yield is moderate; the variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Northeastern United States and Southeastern Canada.
