Variety description

The plant has a compact or spreading form 35–50 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width. Leaves are rounded, deeply dissected, medium green, sometimes with a marbled pattern. Flowers are large, saucer-shaped, light blue or icy lilac-blue in shade with distinct purple veins.
The variety is long-blooming: flowering begins in June–July and continues until October–November. The plant has high winter hardiness (zones 4–5, down to -20...-30°C) and is resistant to browsing by animals. It prefers a sunny or partially shaded location and well-drained, moderately moist soils.
