Variety description

The plant forms a compact bush 30–60 cm in height and width. Leaves are leathery, glossy, dark green with a light silvery-green marbled pattern. Large violet-purple flowers often have a lighter center and persist on the bush for a long time due to sterility.

Flowering occurs in late winter and early spring. The variety is frost-hardy (USDA zones 5–9) and resistant to damage by deer and rabbits. Intended for cultivation in shaded garden areas, borders, and containers.
