Variety description

The plant forms a compact, dense bush 25–30 cm tall. Leaves are evergreen, leathery, deeply dissected, dark green in color. Flowers are large, solitary, saucer-shaped, nodding or outward-facing. Petal color varies from burgundy to deep reddish-purple with a lighter dusty-pink underside.
The variety is distinguished by early and prolonged flowering, spanning the period from autumn to spring. The plant is characterized by cold hardiness in USDA zones 4–9 and deer resistance. Successful cultivation requires ensuring good soil drainage.
