Variety description

The variety belongs to the Rodney Davey Marbled Group and is a complex interspecific hybrid of Helleborus × iburgensis. The plant forms a compact bush 30–50 cm tall and up to 60 cm wide with leathery dark green leaves featuring a distinct light marbled pattern.

Flowers with a diameter of up to 8 cm have a cup shape and are white with a light green tint, which may turn greener over time. Flowering begins in late winter or early spring. Flower stalks are stiff, dark burgundy or brown in color, and the flowers are positioned vertically.

The plant has winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9 and is resistant to wildlife damage. It prefers partial shade and humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction. Suitable for open field and container cultivation. All parts of the plant are poisonous.
