The plant forms dense clumps with leathery dark green segmented leaves. The height and diameter of the bush range from 0.1 to 0.5 m. The flowers have a cup-shaped nodding form, with their reverse side distinguished by a reddish tint.

The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and winter hardiness. Like other hybrid hellebore representatives, it may be subject to infestation by aphids, snails, and specific fungal diseases such as leaf spot or black death.
