The plant forms a dense, voluminous bush of spherical shape, 30–50 cm in height and up to 100 cm in width. The leaves are distinguished by a pistachio hue; in midsummer, the plant produces tall flower stalks with small cream or pink flowers.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness, is adapted to USDA zones 4, and can retain foliage during the winter. It grows well in areas from full sun to partial shade, requires well-drained soils, and moderate watering during hot periods to prevent sunscald.
