Variety description

The plant is an interspecific hybrid forming a dense rosette. The leaves are heart-shaped with distinctly curled margins. The leaf blade color is dark purple or wine-red, with greenish-brown shades appearing with age, and the underside of the leaf is dark violet.

The plant height, including upright flower stalks, reaches 50–60 cm. In June–July, paniculate inflorescences with small creamy-white flowers appear. The variety is evergreen or semi-evergreen, possesses high winter hardiness, and is suitable for cultivation in USDA zones 4–9.

For planting, areas in partial shade or sun with well-drained, humus-rich soil are recommended. In full shade conditions, the intensity of the purple foliage color decreases. The plant is used in landscape design for borders, groundcover compositions, and container gardening.
