The plant is distinguished by large deeply lobed leaves with a wavy edge and a slight sheen, with the underside colored in dark burgundy. The bush reaches 0.5–0.6 m in height and 0.6–0.7 m in width; during flowering, the height of the peduncles can increase to 1.1 m.
The flowering period lasts from April to August; small bell-shaped pink or cream-colored flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences. The variety is suitable for cultivation in partial shade and in the sun provided there is irrigation, and it possesses high wind resistance and winter hardiness down to -34 °C.
