The spring barley variety Annika was developed by the Danish breeding company Sejet Planteforædling. The crop is included in official variety lists of a number of European countries and is undergoing evaluation within the framework of production trials.
The plant demonstrates yields exceeding control indicators. The main directions of the variety's breeding are creating resistance to diseases and maintaining high agronomic characteristics under conditions of intensive cultivation.
