Azrah is a winter six-row barley variety. The plant forms a semi-spreading bush 70–80 cm in height. The ear is cylindrical in shape with medium density and length, as well as long awns. The grain is characterized by an oblong-elliptical shape and thin husk.
The growing season of the variety is about 85–90 days. The variety possesses resistance to a number of major diseases, including loose smut and powdery mildew. According to its purpose, the variety belongs to the non-malting category and is intended for use as feed.
