The variety belongs to the long development cycle group. It possesses good tillering capacity, although this process may slow down at high temperatures; a later start of tillering and smaller plant size are noted compared to some analogues.
In agrotechnical research, the variety was used as a parent form for breeding lines and for studying nitrogen accumulation in the grain of malting barley. Susceptibility tests to Fusarium head blight showed a lack of complete resistance to this pathogen.
