Lavinia is a winter six-row barley variety. The plant is characterized as one of the tallest in comparative trials, which causes its sensitivity to lodging.
The variety belongs to the group with an intermediate type of development, having a slightly erect habit upon emergence from winter. It demonstrates a moderate dependence on sharp temperature fluctuations in the spring period.
