The variety is a representative of the species Hordeum vulgare L. and belongs to winter six-row barley forms. In scientific literature, it is identified as a carrier of the specific powdery mildew resistance gene MlaLv.
Under field conditions, the protective efficacy of this gene has decreased over time due to the emergence of virulent pathotypes of the disease pathogen. Agronomic indicators, including heading time, maturity, lodging resistance, and yield, correspond to the average values for similar varieties.
The variety is used as a grain crop, in particular as a source of starch and protein for feed purposes.
