Variety description

10 August 2026

The spring barley variety Rubín was included in long-term field studies conducted in the Czech Republic from 1990 to 1996. The research examined tillage technologies and their influence on grain characteristics.

During the research on the variety, a low level of the mycotoxin nivalenol was noted in the grain, which did not exceed established legislative standards. Detailed information on the morphological characteristics of the variety, its parental lines, or breeding affiliation is absent from open publications.
